Our cell phone repair is done right here in our shop locally!!  Most Samsung models have a full frame assembly replacements, so all the dents and dings to your chassis are gone!

Prices for screen repairs listed below include BOTH PART AND LABOR. Multiply the listed price by 1.079 for WA state tax and that will be your final total for the repair.

iPhone repairs take about 1 hour to perform, longer if we are backed up with repairs.. We keep most models from the iPhone 8 (SE 2020) up to the iPhone 12 / 12 Pro in stock at all times.

Samsung and other Super OLED screens are ordered as needed, and can be received in 2-3 days.
Samsung repairs take about 1 – 2 hours on average, once the replacement is received.

Small parts replacements take 2 to 5 business days shipping in most cases.  The repair can be done the same day the part comes in!

Due to federal regulation, batteries must come ground or non passenger air ONLY. This can delay shipping by a couple of days depending on the time of year.

Tier 1 (T1) screen parts come as is and have NO WARRANTY of ANY sort!
Tier 2 (T2) screen parts are warrantied for 30 days after installation against manufactured defects.
All Batteries are warrantied for 1 year, so long as the battery conditioning is performed.
Any physical or water damage of any sort nullifies any warranties.

*Update: End of 2023  –

We will be offering new Tiers of Cell Phone repairs, most applicable to Samsung Galaxy Series phones. Tier 1 phone parts are cheaper, but have no warranty, and are Aftermarket OLED or LCD type screens, not the more expensive and brighter Super OLED or OLED OEM screens. We are offering this as an affordable alternative to the higher priced Samsung OEM replacements, although some newer iPhone screens have T1 models available also.

Pricing and availability will be updated at random intervals as time and availability allows.

Notes about Cell phone repair

We cannot feasibly keep every cell phone screen and part available on the market in stock at all times, we simply don’t have room! This is akin to how computer parts work. Each model of cell phone typically has their own uniquely fitting and compatible parts, and we cannot swap parts between models.

In addition to that, Samsung Galaxy, Note, A series, and other models have variances between regions, colors, and “letter” variants.

We do try and keep the most of the popular models of screens and small parts on hand.

As a reminder, we are a screen and small part replacement cell phone repair service.

We do not service the following:

WATER DAMAGE;
INSTALLING CUSTOMER PROVIDED PARTS;
BACK GLASS REPLACEMENTS ON iPhones;

iOS or Android software/apps;
Screen freezing unrelated to physical damage/failure;
Boot Looping;
Network connectivity;
Sim Card issues;

Microscopic Soldering;
Anything other than fixing a screen or replaceable physical part on/in the phone.

Cell Phone Repair Process:

All cell phone repairs require an appointment. This generally applies to screens we keep on hand. As of Aug. 1st 2023, all walk in screen repairs for in stock screens/batteries will be charged a $25 convenience fee.

Availability for performing the walk in repair could be 2 hours or more depending on our workload.

If we are repairing a phone that does NOT have a part in stock, we have two options for our clients:

  1. You prepay for the repair in full. Continue to use your phone (gently!) for a couple of days until the part comes in. We typically can repair the phone the same day we notify you of arrival. We also can schedule the repair on a different day that works better for you!
  2. If the phone is beyond working, you may leave the phone with us. We will order the part, and notify you when it’s ready. You then pay at checkout.

Please keep in mind that cell phones are also subject to our late pickup fees and other restrictions as detailed on our Terms of Service page.

LOCK CODES / Access to phones:

Only in either Samsung repair scenarios or battery replacement scenarios do we need access to the phone. Samsung has a feature where you cannot power down the phone while locked. iPhone batteries need to be tested from within the System settings.

We can certainly understand if people are hesitant to give out their codes. However, if this is the case, simply disable your lock on your phone, and re-enable it once the repair is complete.

If that is still not acceptable, we completely understand, and we can still perform the repair. However, in this instance, per our Terms of Service… “The client agrees to hold AugyTek LLC. not responsible and harmless should a situation arise during or after the repair.” (For not being able to perform the repair and testing properly.) This also will void the limited warranty on any Tier 2 part(s).

iPhone Cell Phone Repair Screen Warranty

ALL TIER 2 screens come with a 30 day limited warranty that prevents against manufacturer defects. If the screen is cracked or water damaged in ANY WAY, SHAPE OR FORM, THE WARRANTY IS NULL AND VOID. (Tier 1 screens have NO WARRANTY as stated above.)

Finally, newer models of ALL phones are made with Super OLEDs, it only makes sense that the replacement should be the same technology. However, this technology usually costs more due to being built to OEM specification.

**NOTICE**:

On ALL iPhone X thru 15 series repairs, we do not guarantee the ambient light sensor and facial recognition feature functionality. This is due to Apple’s firmware/programming locks on these functions.  Tru Tone will also no longer function.

Apple has since patched their iOS firmware in iOS version 15.2. The ALS and Face ID works more reliably after a screen repair, but it is not absolute.  However, in 9/10 cases the features work properly.

On all iPhone 11 and later series screen repairs, you may see a warning message about “Unable to verify an authentic Apple screen…” in the notifications after the repair.  You can safely ignore this message.

iPhone Battery Replacements

Older Model batteries:
iPhone 6 through 12: $149.99

Newer Model batteries:
iPhone 11 / 12 Pro Max: $169.99

(All Series) iPhone 13 and above: $179.99 – Note: these should not be a commonly replaced battery yet, and may be under Apple’s original warranty.

Prices include both the new battery and labor for install.

The iPhone X and above series will have battery features disabled in the battery settings menu after replacement. We have no control over this, as this is part of Apple’s anti-repair campaign.

Batteries for all model iPhones from the iPhone 8 to 11 are usually in stock and available. For older models, we typically use extended capacity batteries if they are available for the specific model of phone, but will need to be ordered. (3 to 5 business days ground shipping)

Battery replacements take about 2 hours between charge cycling and install. Instructions for conditioning upon checkout. Unlocked phone preferred, and required for warranty validation.

All iPhone replacement batteries have a 1 year conditional warranty. Batteries being considered for warranty RMA must be sent back to the distributor first.

In S20 models and above fingerprint sensor functionality can diminish or stop working after a screen replacement:

We do not have any control over this, this is due a Samsung firmware lock.

There are some reports of fingerprint sensor functionality working after screen replacement. Please understand that we have no control over a firmware lock done by Samsung, therefore we cannot 100% guarantee it due to circumstances beyond our control.

In ALL modern Samsung models, we must heat and remove the glass/hard plastic backing in order to perform ANY repairs.  Because of this, there is a chance that the glass will crack in the process of heating up the glass. This applies to screen, charging ports, batteries, etc., anything that requires opening the phone up for disassembly.

If it breaks, or your back glass / cover is already broken/been removed a couple of times:

We recommend immediate replacement. As per terms of service. AugyTek LLC is not responsible for rear covers that are beyond their usage or future damage due to client declining a replacement part. We do our best to seal the covers back as best as possible given the circumstances.

Samsung Battery Replacements

All Samsung Series: $129.99-$159.99 depending on the model of phone.  (This price range includes installation) OEM batteries are used whenever possible. If the model is older, we use extended life batteries that are approved and UL listed instead.

Near complete disassembly is required in order to get to the battery in nearly ALL modern Samsung models. In addition, we test and perform the first stage of the battery conditioning for you, in order to be eligible for the 1 year warranty on them.

Galaxy 7-10 “S” model batteries are kept in stock.  Some Note model batteries are available also.

It is HIGHLY recommended that you get a battery replacement at the same time you get a screen repair on older model Samsung phones, as we do not charge additional labor if we do both screen and battery part replacements at the same time!

Battery replacements take about 2 hours between charge cycling and install. Instructions for conditioning upon checkout. Unlocked phone preferred, and required for warranty validation. We must remove the glass / rear cover to perform this repair.

Other Details about Cell Phone Repairs

It is recommended that back glass / plastic covers are replaced every time you repair your phone for the best possible repair results. New factory adhesive will come on all new rear covers.

We always attempt to order factory replacement adhesive on all Samsung model repairs. However, it is not always available for all models at all times.

As such AugyTek LLC. cannot guarantee that the original adhesive will be adequate for reuse after the repair.

We cannot replace charging ports that are not on a separate Daughterboard. We do not have the equipment for it. It is also a costly and time consuming process due the machinery and skill involved. We recommend sending those types of repairs into Samsung directly.

Thank you for your interest in Cell Phone Repair at AugyTek LLC. and we look forward to helping you soon!
