General Updates:
This website has a wealth of information about our services, pricing, and repair processes. Use the menu bar at the top or click here to select a category for the repair you need!
It’s been a while since we’ve been able to update our information on this page! We have lots of things in the works still, but everyday repair has taken priority over that!
We also finally have new cell phone screen models and pricing.
Future Plans!!
We are still planning on eventually getting more listings on our Ebay store. We had some complications with tax remedies between Ebay and the state of WA. This has finally been settled, and so we can look to do that in the future!
As mentioned, we have updated prices and models on our Cell Phone Repair Page! The changes reflect everything up to current in 2024! We anticipated changes sooner, however relevant world conditions didn’t cause much change until just recently.
We also had plans to implement a tablet screen replacement pricing page. This has been put on the back burner due to lack of interest and high labor cost involved in performing this repair. We can consider each tablet repair job on a case by case basis. However, we did learn that the new Samsung S series Tablets are for the most part unserviceable by 3rd party repair shops. This leaves just the iPads, and for the aforementioned reasons of labor, not worth creating a pricing page for.
Finally, we have temporarily reinstated our HDMI port console repair service, as there has been an uptick in interest. Whereas the process itself is not super complex, it does require specific tools and skills, tools which we had originally sold off and then had to buy back at slightly higher prices. To reflect this, we simply put the HDMI console repair at $299.99 across the board, which includes the part too. This is about a 5-7% increase from the original pricing. We also deep clean the rest of the console, apply new thermal paste, and do a full diagnostic after the repair. The entire process takes well over the 3 hours of labor it’s priced at, however, any higher and it would be more affordable to just purchase a new console.
eBay Sales from AugyTek!

Appointment Scheduling reminders:
All non scheduled cell phone repairs will be subject to a $25 convenience fee. This fee will not be charged if the client agrees to wait until we have a free bench slot open, or we have to order a part. This may be in a couple hours, or a couple days depending on our workload/logistics.
Recycling does NOT require an appointment, however, if you are recycling more than one device, an approximate time of arrival will help get you in and out of our store faster. If you have a list of devices, we can calculate your recycling fees ahead of your arrival also.
Computer repairs are under their own classifications and have their own repair speeds. Where as we typically don’t have an appointment requirement, we are quickly approaching that point due to our workloads being bigger than ever. We are managing the best we can to get our clients the help they need!
If you have a time sensitive repair, we have our Critical Repair Services that jumps you to the front of the line, and gives your a repair a priority over all other jobs we have waiting! More info on the Computer Repair Services page!
Bad News:
We are continuing to liquidate our stock of retail inventory. There has been only a little change in the past 3 quarters, and we have only reordered our repeat sellers. We are considering an online store model to assist in the liquidation. Howeve,r consideration of physical space available is a factor in that, should the online store become wildly popular. It also is counter-intuitive to the goal of freeing up more floor space.
We have our website here for people to do their own research. In the past we have been fairly forgiving about people not looking up our information on their own. However, we simply do not have the time or resources to put a technician on the phone all day long to offer free repair guidance. Look through this website, then call to schedule an appointment. Please. It will be much easier on all parties involved! Thank you!
Good News:
As mentioned above, our Cell Phone repair page had it’s prices updated, as well as some new models of phones added. We we still have our Tier pricing system on certain models of phones. If there is a negligible price difference between T1 aftermarket and OEM/Premium (Foxconn) screens, we simply just list the T2 screen.
Our annual custom build sale for 2024 happened a bit later than normal due to some supply issues with certain parts, but it was a huge success despite little advertising! It usually coincides with Tax return Season, and runs from the middle of February to the end of April! We are on track for 2025’s normal time frame, and may even have some holiday deals coming up!
Finally, loaner laptops! We have been in the process of getting all the back end things ready for this and should have this option available soon! There was far more paperwork and contract legal work to be done regarding this than previously expected, but we are through most of it!
Final thoughts from AugyTek
We have never worked on TV’s, and we promised to look into it. It holds true still that it’s much less expensive to just buy a new TV, rather than repair it in most cases. After we factored in labor for installation, difficulty involved, and new tools we would have to buy for that setup, we simply don’t have the space and volume required to make this a profitable and worthwhile service to offer to our customers.
We determined that the TV’s would have to be at least 1K in replacement value (using a 50% expense ratio) to be even worth looking at, as each TV would require 2 hours of labor ($200) for disassembly and cover replacement labor for things like a power supply, screen replacement, or backlight replacement. TV’s are a bit different than computers. Lots of disassembly is required 99% of the time to get in there and determine what went wrong, if not a screen break. Sadly, just like most laptops with broken screens, the screen part number is on the inside underneath all the rest of everything. But we’d have to disassemble it anyway to replace the screen so the labor charge is still viable either way.
That being said, as long as the part(s) costs are under $300 it would still be 50% or less of replacing the TV. That only happens in models that cost more than 1K. If you apply the same to a $500 TV, you are already at 40% the moment you check it in, and depending on what went wrong, parts could easily put you over that mark. Even if the part(s) would only be $200 total, you are still sitting at 80% cost vs. just spending the extra $100 and getting a new TV.
As always, a HUGE thank you our customers over the last 10 years, and the new ones yet to come! We’re still here because of you, and your desire to get proper repairs at affordable prices!
