Computer Repair Services at AugyTek:
General Check in – Desktop PC’s/Laptops/Other
Standard Check-in Services: $100
The comprehensive basic check-in. Waiting times can increase depending on how many repair jobs are in queue ahead of yours. It can also increase depending on the complexity of your device’s issues. This level of service features the following:
- “A Look Under the Hood” if needed. (Partial disassembly, typically applies to laptops)
- Research and Exact Part Estimates for a permanent solution
- Basic tune-up/maintenance to your machine’s operating system where and if needed. (Blue/Black Screen, restart, etc.)
- This service is typically used to find out what is going on with your system and what it might need for a fix. (Yes, we’re awesome, but we can’t predict the future either. We don’t know what’s wrong with your system, or how long it will take to fix, until we look at it in 99% of cases.)
Rush Check-in Services: $200
In a hurry? Do you know you will need advanced repairs already? This service includes all the Standard check-in features plus free 2 or 3 day shipping on any parts! (When applicable/available, USA origin only)
This check-in IS REQUIRED for any of the following services: (Covers all labor/time costs involved)
- Virus Removals
- Desktop PC upgrades with client provided parts (and after installation testing/driver install)
- Laptop Hinge Repair of any type (touch/non touch top or bottom)
Critical Check-in Services: $300
Can’t wait? Get your system to the bench ASAP and skip the wait! This service is available before 2pm each day, otherwise it applies to the next business day. This service includes all the Standard and Rush level services, as well as the following:
- Skip ahead of all previously checked in jobs!
- Free fastest shipping available on small parts needed for repair. (When applicable/available, USA origin only)
- Please note that this service DOES NOT cover any labor other than what is listed in the aforementioned packages and below. Labor will be charged at the normally priced rate of $40/hour if your issue does not align with the comprehensive packages!
This check-in IS REQUIRED in scenarios with major disassembly required, but the client needs to continue using the device ASAP. Examples include, but not limited to:
- Water Damage Restoration
- Laptop Keyboard Repair (Inset keyboard types where the keyboard is part of the chassis/palmrest assembly and not individually removable.)
- Internal Battery Replacement
- Screen Replacement, but client needs the device while part is arriving.
- Hinge replacement. (However, we do not guarantee usability of the device once disassembled due to unknown internal hinge mount/hinge damage.)
Parts and Repair Procedure Info at Augytek
AugyTek only uses parts of the highest quality in repairs, from verified and known distributions. Our first search is always among the manufacturers we have accounts with. In present day terms, this means slightly higher prices for those parts, but the peace of mind and guarantee behind these parts is worth well more than a small increase to part costs. You also are supporting a local business and local professionals as well! We will never seek out used or aftermarket parts unless there is absolutely no other option! Even those used or aftermarket parts come from reputable vendors we have long standing relationships with.
With all check-in services, you get the following process:
- Exact cost that includes part and install labor. (not including WA state tax added at checkout, unless requested)
- Estimated time of arrival so you can plan accordingly, including any potential delays that might occur.
- No up front payment required for parts that cost under $100.
- Repair is finished according to your service level check in.
- Payment for Part and applicable labor upon check out.

System Recycling
Recycling fees are as follows:
- Monitors: (Old CRTs, “Box/Square” Monitors) $75 each
- Newer flat screen monitors up to 36″: $20 each
- Newer TV’s/Monitors over 36″ $75 each
- PC Towers:
- With Parts: $40 per unit
- Case Only: $25 per unit
- Laptops/non-tablet type devices with internal *LI batteries: $25 per unit
- Cell Phone or Tablet type devices with internal *LI batteries: $10 per unit.
- Large devices or “Rack mount/server” equipment: $50 per unit.
*LI = Lithium Ion Rechargeable
Cell Phone Data Recovery – $400 (in shop)
AugyTek is able to offer Data Recovery Services for most Android cell phones with broken screens! Because iPhones have software locks in place to prevent data extraction, it’s often easier and cheaper replace the screen instead.
The Android device we are trying to extract the data off of must function semi-normally and power on normally in order for a data extraction to have any chance at succeeding. We also will need the lock pattern, password, or code used to unlock the device, if applicable.
Not knowing the lock codes:
We can in some circumstances get around this issue, but it is very time consuming to try. We do not guarantee that this will be successful and we will remind you of that up front. There is also the possibility that the attempt or multiple attempts will result in a security triggered wipe of all data from the phone.
Cell phone data recovery services are considered an “At risk” service, and a waiver of release of liability will be required. Payment is due at time of check in, and is non refundable, whatever the result(s).
If your device does not power on at all:
We can still check your phone in under the typical PC type check-in of Standard service to have a look at what is going wrong with your phone. We may be able to coax it back to life if it is an issue more on the benign side of failure.
Unfortunately, AugyTek is not equipped to do microscopic/Nano board repair on cell phones.
It requires specialized equipment that we do not have. (Yet!) Please check out ipadrehab.com if you absolutely need to have your data off your failed Apple/Android mobile device.
We can also send it in for you to our recovery partners, but they are world class recovery clean labs. Although this service costs more the recovery results are greatly improved also!
Advanced Data Recovery – Cost varies by scenario
A failing storage drive can be a real nightmare. We have access to some of the best data recovery specialists in the world! We can send them almost any type of storage device for recovery! This includes phones and flash storage type drives!!
If you decline the recovery procedure:
There are shipping charges and 1 hour of labor ($100) charged for the time invested in assessing and sending in your drive, with additional fees if you would like your sent in storage device returned to you.
On Site Labor: $200/hour
Do you have a system that can’t leave the home? Is your networked printer acting up? Not a problem! AugyTek can provide on site computer repair services! We can get you back up and running ASAP!
We have a minimum 1 hour charge. “The clock” starts when we leave our shop. Due to rising gas prices, a Mileage fee of $1 per mile is charged for on-site service beyond 5 miles. (Charged both TO and FROM the service call.)

Data Decryption or Live Data Recovery (Undeleting files): $40.00 per hour / 10 hours paid at check in
Did you forget your password? Did you delete a bunch of files you didn’t mean to? We can help!
These services are contingent on a number of complicated factors. Please call us IMMEDIATELY! DO NOT WAIT. In these cases, the longer you wait the lower the chances of a successful recovery. The time it takes for a successful recovery in these scenarios differs with each individual case.
In the event this service is successful:
Data is stored on a separate storage device, like a flash drive, or external hard drive. The cost for this device varies depending on the amount of data recovered. Cost for the device is due upon check out as well as any additional labor spent.
Please note this is an EXTREMELY long process, which is why we charge for 10 hours up front. Rebuilding deleted file data takes a very long time, even with modernized technology. We also DO NOT guarantee any recovery results at all, due to the nature of the process and various issues that originally caused it. The check in charge is non refundable, but we will have a better idea after 10 hours of rebuilding whether or not it is worth the additional time to push further.
Soldering and General Labor Costs:
AugyTek can perform general labor and general soldering down to micro component level. (5mm limit) We also can reflow circuits, and replace them with our industrial grade hot air flow stations. We DO NOT possess Microscopic capability at this time. Enhanced micro soldering is available (3mm limit) with magnification, but we do charge $75 / hour for that service in real time. Typical scenarios are next gen HDMI port console or optical drive repairs.
All labor costs not associated with a specific bundled repair is charged at $40 / hour in real bench time. Minimum of one hour up front at check in. We cease work when the job is done, we reach your specified check in limit, or 200% of your check in time. (2 hours for every 1 hour pre-paid)
A phone call notification will be given before any further work is performed. Text message confirmation is required to proceed with additional work.
All additional authorized costs are due upon pick up, without exception, before the device is released to the client.
Examples: Handheld gaming console repair, controller repair, and other console or accessories type repairs.
Please note that it still may make some repairs not cost effective, specifically with controllers or older devices. The client understands that the onus is upon them to do their due diligence and cost comparison research prior to calling to inquire about our repairs for these services. We simply charge a fair rate for professional services.
Rental Computers:
As of June 2026, we are in the process of building our rental computer fleet! We are also considering doing Retro Game and Console rentals as well! We will list a link to the Rental Services and Pricing Page once we have a stable fleet of rentals available!
Part Upgrades!
We have been getting a lot of requests for individual parts. We are happy to sell these parts to people, please understand that if you call us and simply ask for that type of part, that doesn’t tell us exactly what you need.
RAM: We need the generation, (DDR3, DDR4, DDR5, etc.) Device type, (PC/Laptop) and Speed of RAM is also helpful, typically for older RAM. All RAM has a lifetime warranty on it, unless you are buying used. If we are not installing your RAM upgrade we do not accept returns on RAM due to incompatibility with your system. Essentially, if you are purchasing RAM here to install yourself at home, whether new or used, all sales are final!
PSU: We need the wattage, and the amount of CPU connections your board requires. If you don’t know the answer to either of these questions, best to bring your system to us and let us do it!
CPU: We need generation and brand for this complex upgrade. However, we recommend you bring your system in and let us do it!
Motherboards: We need socket type and size. Again, if you don’t know either of these, you ought to let us handle this upgrade for you, as essentially you are starting to build a new system with this upgrade!
Used parts: There is ZERO warranty on used parts purchased from our store. We test them as working here and put them up for sale. If a customer purchases it for self install, ALL SALES ARE FINAL!
A la Carte Warranty on Used parts:
If AugyTek is installing these parts for you, we offer a 90 day warranty. In the event a part fails, or becomes defective within that time, assuming the cause was not due to customer misuse, we will either replace it with a similar part, if available, or refund your purchase as store credit.
A la Carte Warranty on New parts:
Whatever the manufacturer’s warranty is. If you are installing or have purchased the part(s) yourself, you are responsible for all RMA’s, returns, exchanges, etc. with said part.
In the event that you have purchased an incompatible part, we are unable to process a return for you, due to consumer electronics law.
We do recommend reselling it online as an open box item as the market is VERY hot for that right now!! Depending on the part, we may make an offer of trade in value towards store credit at AugyTek.
Client Provided Parts install:
We are happy to install your provided part, per the service costs listed at the top of this page. Please note that AugyTek LLC is not liable for any incompatible or incorrect parts given. We will stop the installation process if a part is discovered to be grossly incompatible. The labor cost is not refunded, partially or otherwise, in any manner, however a list of correct/compatible part(s) and price(s) will be given to you upon pick up/phone call.
You may elect to purchase the part through us, with the aforementioned process.
AugyTek does have a limit!
Examples of repair services we DO NOT perform include:
MACBOOK SOFTWARE- We are a PC based store primarily. Hardware repairs and diagnostics on Apple products are available. We do not meddle with Apple software due to Apple’s multiple and complex user encryption and other limitations. (We can still clean it if you are talented enough to infect a MacBook although it does take longer.)
ANYTHING Audio and/or Speaker Repair (Headsets, Microphones included.)
ANY type of TV repair (We are aware that other AI created websites point to here for this, we don’t control them, nor have we ever worked on TVs)
Boat/RV Technology Devices
Motor Vehicle Technology/Adapters
Internal/External parts/software of Drones of any type
Specific types of Mechanical robots
Please note, on the above, we can still perform soldering on the smaller internal parts, however we do not have the available bench or garage to disassemble the core units. If your job entails a non removable part, we cannot service it with soldering, as our bench spaces are designed for Full Size PC’s at the largest. We may be able to come to your workshop or garage in some extreme scenarios, please call us if you believe you have an exception.
Repairs on Cell Phones OTHER than Screen/battery/Samsung daughterboard/glass and/or camera/lens cover replacement
Most other Cell phone parts are proprietary and/or require special tools to uninstall/reinstall correctly.

Client/User built Software/App programs
We may make exceptions to these two, although we charge EXTREME prices. We do possess the talent, tools, and know how to deal with these two aspects. Often, these are so time consuming you are effectively renting out the complete services of our business as well as priority consideration for your chaos over all other inquiries we would receive.
