General Updates:

First off, a big congrats to all of the WSU and U of I grads! We wish you all the best for the future!

We recently discovered that there is/are bad actor(s) in the area that are attempting to impersonate us and other tech repair stores in the Quad cities area. The appropriate actions and measures were taken to curtail this. If you ever feel like your experience is less than our normal amazing service quality, we do invite you to text, email, or stop by and see us at 370A S. Grand Ave. in Pullman, WA.

We have also been SUPER SUPER busy and going into graduation weeks, it will get even busier, so make sure you get your repairs in ASAP! We know a lot of students leave for the summer, and we try to help all of them before they go! Please remember that we have lots of world stuff going on right now, so it all affects the expedience of deliveries, and availability/costs of parts! Don’t wait until the last minute so we have the time we need to get you fixed up!

Updated Plans!!

The main sales floor area is still closed. A major rework of it is ongoing. If you are looking for something we can easily run a search for it in our Point of Sale system! The completion still does not currently have an ETA.

We are typically open from 11am to 530pm Monday through Friday for check-ins, pick ups, and general business to the public. Currently, Saturdays are by appointment only. This may be subject to change depending on demand and workload. Our services we offer still remain the same. Our Computer Repair Services page has more info!

As AI takes the stage, we have redirected efforts in utilizing this technology to build an appointment scheduling system, online store, and general website improvements!

Our eBay store has become a priority focus for 2026 and the foreseeable future alongside our normal repairs. We will hopefully have a wide selection by the holiday season. Local pickup will still be an option on all eBay listings! (Link to eBay at bottom)

Appointment Scheduling:

We are first come first serve in general. We do make appointments for service calls, but our availability is based upon our in store workload, and type of on site service requested. In the store, our higher Tier Rush and Critical check in services will still receive priority as stated in the service descriptions.

We still request that you make an appointment for all cell phone type repairs. It’s easy to schedule an appointment block for this type of repair. We do add a $25 walk in convenience fee for non scheduled cell phone repairs. These are processed ASAP, usually within an hour or two.

If your part is not in stock, we waive this fee. However, pre-payment in full is required as listed on our Cell Phone Repair page, before we order any parts. Please beware of scams or impersonations claiming they are associated with us. We will never send you a digital invoice to pay remotely unless you specifically request it from us.

If you call our store line, we may not always be able to answer the phone right away! Please leave your name, number, and type of repair that you are interested in. We will get back to you as soon as we can!

Please note:

We do not return phone calls for the following message types:
Types of repairs that we do not offer.
No phone number or type of repair they need.
General inquiries or questions pertaining to how to use a device.

Finally, due to federal privacy and recent law/policy changes regarding consumer accounts- (Microsoft, Google, Amazon, etc.)
Any type that contains personable identifiable information- we are unable to act as a 3rd party in resolving such issues. Ultimately the issue must be resolved by the end consumer/user and the affiliated service.

Money and the tech industry

By now, virtually everyone has heard about the ongoing increase in RAM, SSD, GPUs. Political stuff aside, yes, we can confirm a 600% price increase in various types of those parts. It is not expected to end anytime soon, as massive AI data centers continue to be built. This in turn causes a shortage of these components that normally are widely available.

Labor rates: We here at AugyTek have not raised our rates or changed types/costs of labor for 10 years! (Feb. 2026 will mark the 10 years) We believe in keeping our costs down for our consumers! It is an amazing value when using our services because of all the things that our check in services include. There is not a better value for your dollars, anywhere. We have painstakingly researched that over the years.

That being said, with the ongoing rising costs of business in general, we may be forced to adjust our pricing. This will be to either a real time cost, or reduce the inclusion of things for our Tier services. We do not want to take away from our package inclusions either. As the rising costs of doing business in the tech industry in continue, these changes may be imminent.

The solution:

In our research for solutions, we have found that prices greatly vary depending on area and population. There are some places that are in excess of two or three hundred dollars just to look at a machine! Then additional repair costs involved too!

We have tentatively set August 1st, 2026 as the deadline for changing any pricing or structures. There will be plenty of notice ahead of the changes before that time. Regarding parts, as we receive pricing updates from our distributors, we will modify this website to reflect them.
